Purple Lab recently realized a huge dream: Going on HSN.

It was our ultimate goal from Day 1. It was why we went broke, why we took every risk, why we tuned out the naysayers, and why we keep on keepin' on. (To get an alert when Purple Lab debuts, click here)

I just came back from a global marketing meeting in Tampa and performed presented to about 75 people. (No pressure!) Though I can't lie - I do love talking about Purple Lab because it's like a new mom talking about the bebe. I'm in love.

Anyway, here's what I can't wait to share. I talked to the team about the sets (by the way, did you see the sleek staging for Puffy's debut - I mean, I could live in it, it was so good). The idea of designing a set - I can't even! Someone pinch me.

I knew I wanted a lounge kind of feel, but not so New York that it wouldn't be relatable. Cool and contemporary yet comfy and aspirational.

A friend of mine is the most talented interior designer (she is actually the brainchild behind the new Standard Hotel in NYC). Have to give her props for a second - I knew her when she was starting out and this kind of work was her ultimate goal. It's amazing to see the people you grew up with hit it and do the things they hoped to do.

So she sketched a little somethin' somethin'. In five minutes, she captured the vibe I imagined with a quick pencil to paper.

The main area is super sexy, a sunken living room feel - all neutral tones and rich textures with hits of color (Picture this: iconic lip sofa angled off of the cocktail table, which is in front of a beige Italian designed sofa with a hint of purple throw pillows, and a backdrop with a giant Warhol-ish painting which we could get made online for not much money).

I envision it all very casual and converstional . Relaxed. Models on the plus couch, just girl talk. And behind us is a clinical setting, inspired by Prada -almost like a lab, where I put makeup on the models (BTW, I'm taking makeup artist lessons, as that is not my background. My only issue right now is liquid liner - takes a very steady hand.)

Of course, all of this is the fantasy - and it will be modified for something that will work on TV. You'll have to tune in for the real thing!

But a girl can dream...

Mwah!
