Alice In Wonderland Mania Hits Beauty Industry
Limited edition Urban Decay Alice in Wonderland Book of Shadows. Must have! Photo courtesy of Urban Decay
As longtime Alice's Adventures in Wonderland and Through the Looking Glass fanatics -- some of us (me) have been collecting Alice stuff since we first read the book at age eight -- we are hotly anticipating Tim Burton's upcoming Alice in Wonderland (although we can't help but notice that he's pretty much made up an entirely new plot line, about which we have mixed feelings).
So of course when we heard about the limited edition Urban Decay Alice in Wonderland Book of Shadows eye palette created to tie in with the movie our collector instinct kicked in and we started plotting how to get it.
Because, you see, it's not for sale yet and press samples are few and far between so we couldn't even get our greedy hands on it that way. (At least not yet. We're still working on it.)
We love the adorable pop up picture, and it doesn't hurt that it comes with 16 versatile eyeshadow colors, two 24/7 Eye Pencils and an Eyeshadow Primer Potion.
Sign up on urbandecay.com and you'll get an email when it's finally for sale.

But wait -- there's more! This month OPI is launching four new colors inspired by and named for the movie.
Our fave is the purple-y glitter number called Mad As A Hatter.
Would it be lame to wear the nail polish and eye shadow with our White Rabbit t-shirt, Eat Me/Drink Me necklace, Queen of Hearts socks and Mad Hatter buttons to the movie?
And we'll try to refrain from lifting up our shirts to expose our Cheshire Cat back tattoo.
We mean, we're not mad hatters or anything!
