Men Say Women Wear Too Much Makeup

In a study on 2,000 men conducted by St. Ives, one in five complained that their partner wore too much makeup, and one in ten said they prefer women who wear no makeup at all.
The biggest cosmetic offenders? Heavy, caked-on foundation and strong blush topped the list of men's worst turn offs, with clumpy mascara, bright lipstick and penciled-in brows rounding out the list.
And men aren't the only ones hating on makeup; 12% of women admitted to glopping on more than they want to.

"It would appear that women are wearing makeup to hide bad skin, not simply to impress the opposite sex. If women felt more confident that their skin was in good condition, they wouldn't need to wear so much makeup to cover up," a spokesman for skincare expert St. Ives told the Daily Mail.
Makeup is so much a part of women's everyday life that almost two thirds of women admitted to wearing a full face of makeup to work, and thirty-nine percent of women said they dreaded their sweetie seeing them before they've prettied up.
