Hanes Pulls Charlie Sheen Ads After Domestic Violence Charges
Charlie Sheen is getting the Tiger Woods treatment from Hanes. The actor has been dropped after a brief stint as a spokesman for the underwear brand.
Hanes cited Sheen's Christmas Day arrest on domestic violence charges involving his wife, Brooke Mueller, as the reason for its decision to pull ads featuring the actor, according to People.com.
Through his attorney, Sheen, the longtime star of the popular CBS sitcom "Two and a Half Men" has denied his wife's account of their ugly fight, which resulted in his arrest in Colorado.
Until the holidays, Sheen had been featured in some cheeky television spots with basketball legend Michael Jordan for Hanes "Comfortsoft" line of T-shirts. The relaxed banter between the two handsome celebrities was in stark contrast to the knife-wielding spouse Meuller described to police.
Hanes says that it tried to pull as many of the television spots as possible after the Christmas Day bust up, but said it was unable to get them all off the air before Jan. 1 because of difficulties reaching network executives.
Hanes told the magazine that Sheen is under contract for the next year, but that it has no plans to feature him in future campaigns. We still may catch a glimpse of Sheen in boxers or briefs, however. A print ad campaign that was part of his role for the brand has already been placed in some trade magazines and pulling those pages may be impossible because of publishing schedules, according to the brand.
No word from Hanes on whether they have a replacement in mind for Sheen. Maybe they'll just go commando.

Who cares about Sheen? Elin should dump Tiger, and let him join Amway, along with his "girlfriends", as Amway also screws anything that moves. Amway is a scam, and here's why: Amway pays out as little money as they can get away with, so they support the higher level IBOs ripping off their downline via the tool scam.
As a result, about 99% of IBOs operate at a net loss, while the top 1% make several TIMES more from their Amway tool scam than from the Amway products.
Read about it on my blog, I suggest you start here: http://tiny.cc/D5oJh and forward the information to everyone you know, so they don't get scammed.
