If you can't afford that Jason Wu frock, you can still get your hands on a picture-worthy piece designed by the Michelle Obama fave.

Wu has teamed with General Imaging to develop a new line of digital cameras.

They say a picture's worth a thousand words, and sometimes that can translate in a dress of even more value. As Wu mused on his fashion-tech collaboration, "As a highly visual person, I love taking pictures of the many beautiful things I encounter in my everyday life which then often influence my designs."

The style set will get a first look at the new point-and-shoot line when it debuts with the designer's Fall 2010 collection at New York Fashion Week next month.

As the fashion world has a well-documented love affair with photographers, we can just imagine the front row hamming it up for shots already.

Considering the designer also teamed with cashmere line TSE for a capsule collection, looks like February will be exciting and busy for Wu.
