The Lady Gaga ashion aesthetic is all about crazy looks, public spectacles and glamorous blonde hair. Even in a relatively tame photo (right), she still stands out in a crowd.

It's hard to imagine that she used to dress far more simply for public events (jeans!) and had a more low-maintenance beauty regime (brunette!).
