Shapewear is about to get a whole lot chicer.

Designer Cynthia Rowley has inked a deal with United Legwear Company, LLC to launch the Slim by Cynthia Rowley bodywear brand. The partnership makes ULC the exclusive Cynthia Rowley bodywear, legwear and hosiery licensee worldwide.

The collection promises to combine elements of shapewear and lingerie with a designer sensibility. Look for bras, slip dresses and high-waisted briefs that incorporate the latest technical details such as bonded technology and powermesh.

If this sketch indicates things to come, women will be proud to show off their secret shape weaponry.

The line -- which will be priced from $118 to $226 -- is slated to launch this fall, and will be sold in high-end department, boutique and online stores, as well as Cynthia Rowley retail locations.

Oh, and guess what? Rowley designs for babies, too.
