In her debut column for StyleList, America's Most Stylish Blogger winner Trang Huyen of Behind the Seams offers her fashionable perspective on wearing winter whites. Check back regularly as she comes up with more creative outfits!

The New Year has arrived which means it's time for new beginnings and fresh starts for all of us. To kick start 2010, I decided to pull together an all-white ensemble from head to toe.

The top is vintage and features draping plus a v-shape neckline and refined bold shoulders. I love that the bold shoulder look has emerged as one of the season's biggest trends! I find that it brings out a woman's confidence and adds a touch of graceful elegance to any outfit.

I decided to pair the blouse with a poufy white skirt and Badgley Mischka shoes for both a feminine and romantic touch. I added a stack of gold bangles, a statement necklace, and a metallic gold clutch to finish off this refreshing New Year's look!

Looved this look. I aim to wear more white this year! A white ensemble from head to toe is also really bold. The dark lipstick is so smart and so appropriate. All around love.
