These el cheepos at places like wall-mart for about $20 i am sure has hurt their sale. Not that these people would buy uggs but because every where you look going down the street you see them. I hate to wear my now because I feel people think I have on the wal-mart line. By the way you don't wear socks with them you go barefooted. I say the sheep are pretty smart they know how to keep warm. There was another brand called Pugs they were about $100 or a little over I tried a pair of those also. They were pretty good. wgats funny about these "austrailian" uggs is that if you look inside at the tag, they are made in china just like every other piece of $h1t knock off. so either by chinese fake name brand for $180 or by the cheap no name from china, hell they probably came out of the same sweatshop anyways

i love ugg type boots, they are sooo warm.even in the coldest weather.. i thank god every time i wear them.. steve madden ones are great.

I am on my feet all day on a concrete floor that is incredibly cold in the winter time. Am I worrying that my Ugg's are ugly? No... I am thankful that I am wearing a shoe that is warm and comfortable not to mention sturdy and well-made. I have a brown pair and a black pair and I wear one or the other every day in the winter.
If they were just a silly fad it would be one thing but they have earned their popularity with their functionality.

Ok, I agree that $795 dollars for a pair of boots is totally ridiculous! I happen to love uggs actually and I don't think it's a good thing to do to just attack something as being "fugly" and stupid when obviously they're doing something right to have survived being more than a one season fad. Uggs are extremely warm and comfortable and I bet you all liked and wore some stuff that you'd now think was "fugly" when you were young! Also adults and older people have a different sense of style than young people.
