Liz Lange is expanding into ready-to-wear.

The designer, primarily known for her fabulous maternity frocks, is launching a new sportswear collection "Completely Me by Liz Lange" on HSN next month.

Bearing the tagline, ''Life's a party. Are you dressed for it?," Lange's collection consists of brightly colored sportswear pieces including tunics, scarf tops, beaded knit tops, pants and leggings, none of which will retail for more than $60.

"The spirit of the collection is in vacation spots -- places that make me happy," Lange told StyleList, "Nantucket, Palm Beach, Capri." She added that social icons also were an inspiration. "The women who are known for wearing great sportswear like Jackie Kennedy and Babe Paley."

Though she sold her brand to Bluestar Alliance last year, Lange remains involved with her multiple lines. She's also started a side gig with her sister Jane Wagman, a Website called Shopafrolic.com. On it, the two women share what they've bought and want to buy online, trading barbs and comments, in the fashion, accessories and beauty arenas.

"We're doing what we would normally do. It's an easy way to help women shop and dress."
