Bond No. 9 wants to spread the scent of peace to help the victims of the Haiti earthquake.

Starting today and continuing for the next thirty days, 10% of the proceeds from the sale of the New York-based brand's Scent of Peace will go directly to The American Red Cross to provide desperately needed supplies and relief.

The fragrance is a blend of bright florals and sweet citrus fruits, mixed with a wood musk and packaged in a lavender frosted glass bottle adorned with the universal symbol of peace – a dove.

When the scent was first created in 2006, the inspiration was the spirit of compassion and tolerance the perfumery feels is signified by the city of Manhattan. A portion of the sales have always been donated to Seeds of Peace – a non-profit that empowers youth leaders from impoverished conflict zones to lead their communities with reconciliation skills that focus on harmony and acceptance of all people.
