It's no surprise that a lot of actresses cut back on eating to prep for their red carpet appearances, but that didn't stop eggplant from making a huge splash at this year's Golden Globes.

Yes eggplant, the color, was a stunning hit on some of our favorite actresses: Winner Sandra Bullock was a pretty plum in Bottega Veneta, Jane Krakowski was ravishing in J. Mendel and Rose Byrne looked ready to paint the town purple in Lanvin.

How delicious!
