Valentine's Day is quickly approaching and it is an exciting time to dress up and celebrate love! Here is my version of what to wear on a date with your sweetie.

For this romantic occasion, I chose a color palette in soft pinks. I am wearing a draped one shoulder top from MM Couture with a flirty, flowing skirt.

Instead of a belt, I cinched the ensemble with a light gray ribbon belt for a feminine effect.

Other accessories include a woven Bottega Veneta handbag, chunky silver jewelry, and the suede Prada booties that I scored during the second America's Most Stylish Blogger challenge. (Yes, I'm still wearing them - thanks for your vote of confidence Amy Smilovic!)




















In terms of beauty, I decided to put my hair in soft curls and keep my makeup at a minimal with neutral soft tones.

I think the most important thing is to keep your look very simple and sweet. When you have confidence in the clothes you wear, it will make a great impression on your Valentine's date!
