And the same typically goes for the advertisements the actress has starred in -- think: Louis Vuitton's Fall '07 campaign that had her playing the modern pinup in a bra and panties, her brand new Dolce & Gabbana ad that has her doing the same or last season's punky ads for Mango, in which she reclined seductively in curve-hugging tank dresses.
But now, in her second season as the face of Mango, it looks like the actress-cum-singer is getting all conservative around the neckline and yet somehow manages to look even sexier by leaving a little to the imagination.
The Spring/Summer 2010 ads, shot by Mario Sorrenti in New York, feature a supremely lithe Johansson with auburn tresses wearing floral sundresses, lacy boho frocks, shirt dresses and embroidered rompers while draping herself over velvet chairs and bedspreads.
Mango is calling the look of the season "retro-marine" and says it's inspired by the hues of the Mediterranean.
But what do you think of Johansson's more buttoned-up look? Leave a comment.
