The youngest of the Jonas Brothers -- also famous for dating Miley Cyrus -- is about to strike out on his own with a new pop-rock group, Nick Jonas and the Administration, and an album dubbed "Who I Am."
To celebrate his new solo venture, Jonas is starring sans brothers Joe and Kevin on three different covers of VMan and an inside fashion spread shot by Mario Testino, which has the youngster channeling rock 'n' roll stars from the past, including Elvis and Johnny Cash.
Under the headline "How to Be a Rockstar: The Jonas Brother Flies Solo," the multi-talented musician strikes poses in a Dolce & Gabbbana leather jacket, a slim-fitting Louis Vuitton suit, a denim D&G button-down, a tissue-thin Calvin Klein tee with rolled-up sleeves and jewelry by David Yurman and Cartier. He also rocks a slicked back and flipped up hair in the form of an of-the-moment pompadour à la Mark Ronson.
"My faith plays a big part in who I am: a Christian guy playing pop-rock music," he tells the magazine. "Maybe it's about preference. I just prefer to make people happy with my music. I prefer to see a smile on someone's face after I sing a song."
And that's just how the girls like it.
