Diana Ross for her smooth voice, trademark mane and sometimes crazy antics, so a partnership with Steve Madden sounds like a perfect fit for the wacky fashion world. We know
Ross is bringing her decade-spanning fashion sense to a newly announced collaboration with the mega shoe brand, reports WWD.
But rather than go for diva-glam, Studio 54-inspired platforms, the 65-year-old icon is working with Steve Madden on sneakers.
Apparently, Madden, who has been looking to relaunch his sneaker line -- to be carried at Foot Locker in the U.S. -- was excited that he found a design collaborator in Ross, according to the paper.
While, Foot Locker wasn't exactly what we had in mind for the former front woman of The Supremes, perhaps there will be some glittery disco sneakers yet.
Details on the collaboration have not been released, however, if there's one diva prepared to take on the fashion world, Ross is it. As she once sang, "Ain't No Mountain High Enough."
Meanwhile, Steve Madden also inked a footwear deal with this famous duo.
