Lady Gaga to Lend Her 'X Factor' to Simon Cowell's New TV Show?

First, the singer/dancer gets bounced from "American Idol." Now her anticipated spot as a judge on Simon Cowell's upcoming U.S. version of "The X Factor" could go to Lady Gaga, instead.
Cowell was reportedly bitten by the Gaga bug after the outlandish -- and oh-so-stylish -- performer sang her hit, "Bad Romance," in a bathtub on a U.K. episode of the talent show, according to The Sun.
"Simon thinks Lady Gaga is great and really likes her energy," an unnamed source told the paper. "Conversations have been happening between Cowell's U.S. team and her people about what kind of role she could have on the show."
Insiders, The Sun reports, say the 23-year-old singer has been asked to look at her schedule to see whether her tour dates would allow her to commit to weekly filming.
Cowell announced earlier this month that he'll be leaving his mega-hit "Idol" to launch "The X Factor" stateside. Other names being batted around to serve as judges include Abdul, Beyoncé, Megan Fox, Kelly Rowland, Mel B and Cheryl Cole.
Gaga, for what it's worth, is a big fan of Susan Boyle, who found fame on Cowell's U.K. show "Britain's Got Talent."
"I love Susan Boyle," Gaga tells the source. "Our styles are different. I don't know if we could work together, but never say never. It would be great to work with somebody of that talent."
If a Gaga-Boyle duet doesn't bring in an "The X Factor" ratings bonanza, we don't know what will. We can only imagine what the costumes would be like.
Meanwhile, over at "American Idol," could Victoria Beckham be this season's stylist?

Daily Dose of Style is back in full swing and ready to tackle on new fashion dilemmas, season standouts and much more! Today, let's take on a personal issue of mine. The problem: I'm in a wardrobe rut and have been for the past several weeks. You ever have those periods of time where you hate everything in your closet, or absolutely bored of it? Ugh! And since I'm still recovering from my holiday spending (ahem, over-spending), I can't just splurge on new clothes to solve my apparel angst. The solution: Layering! Playing with layers can produce outfits for you that feel totally new. I have to admit I haven't mastered this form of art yet. I need to schedule some playtime in my closet in fact. Look below. This is what I'm taking about. Topping your old dress with a cardigan, vest and scarf updates a once-drab dress... and makes the outfit all the more interesting! How do you layer? Tell me below! Stay tuned by the way for voguetouch Shopping's Guide to Layering coming in February!
