Narciso Rodriguez to Launch Affordable Line on eBay

Narciso Rodriguez has partnered with eBay to produce an exclusive capsule collection, marking his first foray into e-commerce. The highly anticipated collection is inspired by the graphic and well-fitting pieces that have become his signature.
The eight items -- which include two matte jersey fitted dresses, a denim skirt suit and a trench coat -- will debut on eBay Feb. 15.
Prices start at $75 for a T-shirt and climb to $350 for the trench, making these pieces much more affordable than his signature ready-to-wear line sold at Bergdorf Goodman, Barneys New York and Neiman Marcus.
"It's a collection that has everything you need, an intelligent group of pieces that work independently or as an all-in-one look," Rodriguez said in prepared remarks. "For me it's always been about dressing many women of all ages, all types, all sizes, and this is a unique opportunity to reach a broad global audience."
Rodriguez is a favorite of First Lady Michelle Obama -- she wore his black and red dress when her husband accepted his party's nomination for the presidency. He's also a favorite of Julianna Margulies, who wore his gowns to both this year's SAG Awards and Golden Globes. Rodriguez first became a household name when he designed Carolyn Bessette-Kennedy's simple wedding sheath dress.

Daily Dose of Style is back in full swing and ready to tackle on new fashion
dilemmas, season standouts and much more! Today, let's take on a personal issue
of mine. The problem: I'm in a wardrobe rut and have been for the past several
weeks. You ever have those periods of time where you hate everything in your
closet, or absolutely bored of it? Ugh! And since I'm still recovering from my
holiday spending (ahem, over-spending), I can't just splurge on new clothes to
solve my apparel angst. The solution: Layering! Playing with layers can produce
outfits for you that feel totally new. I have to admit I haven't mastered this
form of art yet. I need to schedule some playtime in my closet in fact. Look
below. This is what I'm taking about. Topping your old dress with a cardigan,
vest and scarf updates a once-drab dress... and makes the outfit all the more
interesting! How do you layer? Tell me below! Stay tuned by the way for
