Twenty-two percent of women in their twenties have high cholesterol, which -- even at that age -- increases the risk of getting a heart attack or stroke.
An easy way to help lower cholesterol is to eat more fresh fruits and vegetables, which are cholesterol-free, naturally low in calories, and (in most cases) filled with healthy fiber.
To put yourself in the mood for a juicy apple or vine-ripened tomato, throw on this bright red dress -- it's also perfect for the office and flattering for nearly every body type.
Why are we promoting a happy heart? It's on trend of course! The Heart Truth initiative, as it is known, aims to inform women about the risk of heart disease.
