Last September, during Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week in New York, I shared my best kept secret for maintaining an organized handbag – Perrin Paris' Martha Clutch.

For the fall 2010 show season, I've found even more tools and tricks that will ensure the inside of my handbag stays super organized during the most hectic work week. If you too are a busy, gal-on-the-go put the below items on your must-purchase list asap!

Bag-sket Case
Pens, papers and products, oh my. A compartmentalized, basket-like organizer should be the central until within your handbag that houses all those loose items often floating about without a home. Plus, when you are switching from your casual hobo to your refined satchel, it's a great pull-out and go time saver. I recommend the Cherry Brand's Handbag Organizer ($26 - $30, depending on size) or the Pouchee ($25).
Bag in a Bag
Having mini pouches or clutches inside your handbag is like having storage bins inside your closet. Allocate each one for a set group of items: gadgets – camera, Flip, etc – go in one, cosmetics go in another. These shouldn't be expensive, so check out the plethora of affordable options available at off-price retailers such as TJ Maxx and Marshalls.

No Bag Ladies Allowed
After a day of fashion shows and presentations, editors collect so many gift bags we literally look like bag ladies (and gentlemen). Having an eco tote inside your bag is a great way to combine items you've accumulated throughout the day. It's also nice to use instead of taking a plastic bag every time you go to the drugstore or get a quick fashion fix at H&M. Try a soft print foldaway tote from Radley London ($32.00) or a metallic option from Rume ($14.95).

Tote-ally Germ Free
If you love your purse, never put it on the floor! Don't bother rummaging through your handbag to find your handbag hook, just attach the Clipa ($19.99) to the handbag and it will always be there for you when you need it. Bonus: where the Clipa as a bangle!

Purse-onally Yours,
