Kérastase has announced a new partnership with Celeb Stylist Ashley Javier, whose fashion-savvy style has landed him past collaborations with chic labels like Badgley Mischka and Behnaz Sarafpor, as well as with photography legend Annie Leibovitz.

"For the success and quality of my work, I rely on great hair care products. That's why I'm so fond of Kérastase, and it's very exciting to be partnering. I'm really looking forward to introducing Chronologiste, and all the latest of their brilliant hair care products," Javier tells StyleList.

Set to debut in select Kérastase Consultant Salons in March, Chronologiste is a deep and decadent nourishing treatment made of sea-enriched caviar pearls that a stylist then mixes with a velvety hydrating base of ceramides and Vitamin E. Expect regenerated locks and UV anti-oxidant protection – and expect a hefty price tag; $60 for an in-salon treatment and $145 if you buy the at-home version.


And Javier – who is among the first to spot emerging trends in the hair industry – is seeing some big, fabulous hair in more places than just the runway.

"Women are feeling brave and bold with their hair again, and they're not afraid to spend more time on it – keywords: groomed and directional. More and more, they're dressing around their hairstyles. And there are so many pro and amateur tutorials on the internet now, that anyone can learn to create any hairstyle in just minutes," says Javier.
