Though Brigitte Nielsen had a successful career as a model and actress in the '80s, many of us probably know her best (in recent years, at least) for her unlikely love affair with Public Enemy rapper Flavor Flav. (Remember that?!)

After the tryst between "Gita" (her pet name) and "Fouffy Fouffy" (his) played out on several Vh1 reality shows, both stars faded off both our TV screens and our radar. Until now.

Nielsen has just made a sudden return to the modeling world for the first time in nearly two decades.

She posed for the Spring/Summer issue of Copenhagen-based DANSK Magazine, photographed by fashion guru Jam at a private residence in Los Angeles.

Nielsen's fabulous wardrobe consisted of drool-worthy pieces by Chanel, Givenchy, and Lanvin.

The Danish model, now 46, still sports her infamous bleach blonde cropped hairstyle in the photos, and luckily the camera still loves her statuesque frame and chiseled, strong features. Take a look at Nielsen working it:

This shoot could be the beginning of a new era for Nielsen, marking a new popularity for the model among today's hot young stars. According to Just Jared, Rihanna approached Nielsen at the People's Choice awards to ask, "Can I just be you for a day?"
