It seems Pharrell Williams won't have to stand in a line surrounded by women when he buys his next Birkin bag -- instead he can stroll into the first Hermès men's-only boutique, which opens today in New York City.

The new four-floor Hermès Man shop will be located in a townhouse across from the women's flagship store on Madison Avenue, which previously housed a smaller offering of the men's collection, according to WWD.

"We needed more space in the existing flagship and it made the most sense to take out our men's product and give it its own boutique," Robert Chavez, Hermès Paris CEO and President, told the paper of the new 10,000-square-foot store that will hawk everything from silk ties to a $1,100 Hermès baseball, $8,500 glove and even custom leather jackets starting at $50,000.

"Traditionally, our clientele has always been mixed," said Patrick Thomas, CEO of Hermès International. "Today, in volume terms, we sell roughly as many objects to men as we do to women."

In addition to swimwear, sportswear, knitwear, suiting, luggage, footwear, belts and hats, the new New York-based, French-born shop -- which hosted a party attended by Katie Holmes, Martha Stewart and Kyra Sedgwick last night -- will celebrate it's location and heritage with exclusive products, such as ties decorated with both the Statue of Liberty and the Eiffel Tower standing next to each other.

With new room in the women's flagship, Hermès plans to showcase expanded offerings for the ladies, along with goods for the home.

But don't expect to find the coveted Birkin bag on sale anytime soon (or ever!).
