NAILS: Dashing Diva
SNAPSHOT: Gritty Elegance

Moody makeup and gritty hair were the order of the day at Cushnie et Ochs Fall 2010 showcase.

Makeup artist Sarah Tanno gave models an "elegantly disheveled" look to compliment the edgy, textured clothes that Cushnie et Ochs sent down the runway. Eyes took center stage, shadowed in strong shades of purple and reddish-brown hues, while the brow was extended and lips were left nude. "It's edgy and tough but still feminine," said Tanno. "She's not high-maintenance but medium-maintenance."

Jordan M skipped the brush and comb to keep ladies' locks messy, using his fingers to twist hair back. "We wanted to keep it piecey and tendrilly," he said. "The clothing is very strong and sexy so we kept it simple, but a bit weird as well."

Chrome nails featuring crushed black glass added to the edgy aesthetic.

GET THE LOOK - MAKEUP: For eyes, Tanno tapped MAC's Cream Color Base on lids and applied a violet pigment on the outer corner of the eye. Next, she brushed MAC's Brown Script Eye Shadow on lid and under eyeline before sweeping lashes with MAC Studio Fix Lash. For cheeks, she mixed MAC Silver Dusk and Fix Plus before pressing onto the apples. The ladies' lips were left nude, and skin received a wet look with MAC Strobe Cream and Face and Body Foundation.

GET THE LOOK - HAIR: Jordan M sprayed Bb.Prep on dry hair to give hair texture and achieve a piecey look and diffused Bb. Styling Cream to pull hair back and pin in a low twist on the back of the head. To create movement he left some tendrils loose, framing the face.

GET THE LOOK - NAILS:
Dashing Diva's new Chrome Collection was adhered to model's nails for a raw look.
