TOP LOOKS: Gray wool day dress with piping, buttons and shaggy shoulder detailing, worn with knee-high socks, dusty floral-print shift dress under fluffy sheepskin vest, blue-and-gold metallic cocktail dress with fly-away heart shape on front.

ACCESSORIES: Three styles of Pointer for Karen Walker shoes, including a pale pink pump, brown schoolboy oxford and tasseled loafer; Walker's cult-collected eyewear collection dubbed "Sun Gods," featuring an oversized shade trimmed in neon orange-pink acetate and more understated black versions.

WHAT WE THOUGHT: New Zealand-based designer Karen Walker delivered this head-to-toe this season, sending out full looks and numerous cute-as-a-button frocks that any downtown indie girl would salivate over. Walker opened her show with a perhaps hard-to-wear shirt and trousers in a dusty all-over floral print inspired by the Von Trapp children's curtain play clothes, but from there she broke down her inspiration into more bite-size pieces.

Day dresses dominated (naturally), while the vintage florals were mixed with shrunken blazers, trim corduroy suits and dramatic jackets in white fluffy sheepskin. For more dressed-up occasions she offered blue-and-gold metallic dresses with black piping and, for everyday wear, absolutely stellar accessories.
