So if you're boyfriend/husband has been stealing your makeup, tell him he is about to get his. Menswear tailoring is all over the Fall 2010 Fashion Week runways, so you may want to start figuring out which of his pieces you can steal and make your own.
If you'd prefer to take the easier route, you can also just buy the stuff that's inspired by a man, but made for a woman.
Yigal Azrouel (far right) showed lots of gray pinstripes and slim, trim pants -- with pleats! Alexander Wang (center) showed gray pinstripes trimmed with lace -- definitely had that sexy soft vs. hard thing happening. And Jason Wu, he of the pretty dresses, showed off suiting as well, albeit with sculptural edges and some sparkle.
It's no Annie Hall moment -- these looks are more delicate and elegant. They'll be super wearable for real women, but beware -- good quality fabric and tailoring will be de rigeur. Don't waste your money on cheap or ill-fitting stuff. These sorts of pieces will probably make good investments anyway.
