THE SCOOP: Vivienne Tam, known for her crisp and clean lines, Asian patterns, and rich color, created a Fall 2010 collection reflective of her past collections, but with a little more edge. The beauty team created a look that was classically glamorous, yet modern, featuring bold red lips and a sleek and simple pony.
Hair stylist Bok-Hee sculpted a look that was influenced by the blend of Tam's traditional China doll style and a new and intriguing modern edge and roughness. "Sumo wrestler, graphic, horror.. these were all elements that motivated this look," said Bok-Hee.
Maybelline makeup artist Charlotte Willer created a color palette inspired by Tam's signature Porcelain doll look. "I used bright, bold red lips and kept the rest of the face very natural for a healthy, clean look," said Willer. "The focus is definitely on the lip. Vivienne wanted red lips."

GET THE LOOK - MAKEUP: Apply a light layer of Mineral Power Liquid Foundation and then a light coat of Mineral Liquid Concealer to the face. Use Define-A-Brow Eyebrow Pencil to groom the brows, using a shade right for your skin. Then, in the inner corner of the eye use a shimmer. For lips, use Color Sensational Lip Liner in Red for a bold and shiny lip. Willer gave us a tip for buying lipstick. "When testing out a lipstick shade, try it on your finger because the color and texture of your finger is closer to your lip than the back of your hand, where people normally test their makeup," said Willer.
