THE SCOOP: Like many shows, we're seeing this season, designer Jill Stuart's Fall 2010 collection was inspired by Kate Moss. But not an early 90s Moss, like we've seen elsewhere, but rather a Moss of today, or rather, of tonight. "The hair looks a little danced-out, like she just left a club at 4am" said hair stylist Bob Recine. "There's a messy nonchalance, but the key to the look is confidence."
Makeup artist Charlotte Tilbury went for a feline makeup, citing her inspiration as Brigette Bardot. Fingertips had a classic, nude effect with a few coats of peach nail polish. "The nails are very finished and feminine," said manicurist Deborah Lippmann.
GET THE LOOK - MAKEUP: Use brown shadow on the lids and black at the lash line, drawing the line out at the corner of the eye for a cat eye look. Top off the eyes with lots of mascara, use a peachy shade to contour beneath the cheekbones, and finish lips with a natural beige shade.
GET THE LOOK - HAIR: Spritz roots with TIGI Catwalk Your Highness Root Boost, a spray mousse that can give the entire head texture. Then blow dry the hair, use a wide barrel curling iron to haphazardly curl the ends, and rumple the roots with your fingers for a slightly messy look.
GET THE LOOK - NAILS: File nails into a short, rounded shape. Color nails with two coats of opaque peach Deborah Lippmann Collection Nail Polish in I'm Not Innocent.
