WHAT WE THOUGHT: It seems that Catherine Malandrino heard the call of the wild this season, serving up rugged furs (fox and human-hair-like kidassia goat were prevalent) in a variety of organic shapes. The heavier jackets -- paired with the still-going-strong drop-crotch trousers -- were complimented by lighter evening and cocktail dresses that managed to keep the raw and primitive feeling alive with uneven necklines, sleeves and hems, and an exotic all-over mixed animal print.
Unlike other designers this season, who have sent super skimpy designs down the runway, we appreciate that Malandrino actually thought about the fall's colder weather and provided her customers with plenty of stylish, yet warm, choices for when the mercury drops.
Now get all the details on Malandrino's runway hair and makeup.
