THE SCOOP: "Anna was talking about arts and crafts, and lots of decoration," said makeup master Pat McGrath. The makeup made a statement, but shades lingered within the same cool tone, to give structure and smolder without being loud. The eyes were done up in a grayish taupe, while lips got a swish of purply stain.

"For me, I see Biba in the face," said McGrath, referring to the iconic London fashion shop, a hotbed for the mod fashion movement of the late 60s and early 70s. The accompanying 'Biba Look' was all about mini skirts, fresh faces and big round eyes.

"We went silky and straight this season, with a center part," said hair stylist Garren. "The intricate layering of the clothing and the patterns needed longer hair." But two models got a different treatment -- Agyness Deyn, the face of Anna Sui's Rock Me Sweetly, walked in her now signature raven bob, while flame-haired Karen Elson, who opened the show, was given big, sexy curls.
