INSPIRATION: A mix of bohemian (Kourtney), edgy (Khloe) and super sexy (Kim)
TOP LOOKS: Black leather bustier worn over a heather gray sweatshirt dress; button-front fuchsia romper; black leather shorts paired with a heather gray sweatshirt and a chunky J.Crew-style jeweled necklace
ACCESSORIES: Open-toe woven black leather booties and chunky rhinestone jewelry
WHO WAS THERE: Adrienne Bailon, JWoww from "Jersey Shore," Dina, Caroline and Lexi from "The Real Housewives of New Jersey," Kim Kardashian (sitting front row sans sisters)
WHAT WE THOUGHT: What we figured might be a train wreck, actually turned out to be good. Ninety percent of the clothing that Kim Kardashian (sitting solo in the front row) and her two slightly less famous sisters, Kourtney and Khloe, "designed" for Bebe this season looked pretty, wearable and even hip -- a stuck-in-the-year-2000 ensemble of cuffed short-shorts and sheer white blouse, and some tired-looking thick shoulder pads notwithstanding.
We liked the sexy and slightly edgy look of it. Our favorite exit was a structured black leather bustier worn over a heather gray hooded sweatshirt dress, which looked as covetable as it did familiar (cough, Alexander Wang Spring 2010, cough). There were lots of modern cocktail dresses (many one-shouldered) in a sophisticated palette -- and at an accessible price point.
