DESIGNER: Tory Burch

INSPIRATION: A gallery-hopping downtown girl; the color palettes of Gerhard Richter and Picasso's Mosqueteros exhibit that showed at the Gagosian last year

TOP LOOKS: Oversized sweater with marabou feather miniskirt; graffiti-print trousers with leather jacket and mesh tee; Degradé blue and black mohair coat with electric blue knit leggings; satin top with gold lamé sleeves and black pants

ACCESSORIES: Slouchy bags, belts galore, high heeled and wedged construction boots; high heel studded boots; Justin Guinta's charm brooches and chunky bracelets

WHO WAS THERE: Editors, stylists and an all-girl group from Japan!

WHAT WE THOUGHT: What's not to love? All the right pieces were in Tory Burch's arsenal for fall. There was the excellent outerwear (the trusty camel overcoat, the aforementioned blue degradé number plus an oversized anorak with fur trim), an updated version of her sequin attention-catcher dress (this time in red), plus plenty of day-to-night options for her girl-on-the-run customer.
