A Temperley wedding dress... Um, we do! Photo courtesy of Net-A-Porter
Known for its amazing selection of designer clothing, shoes and accessories, the site is now branching out into bridal.
Net-A-Porter's Wedding Boutique is not only selling bridal gowns and the appropriate accessories (though they certainly stock a lot of them), but also carries "I do" dresses that wouldn't be found at a bridal vendor.
Sasha Sorokin, senior buyer of ready-to-wear explains: "While I was buying Temperley, I saw a dress that I thought would make a great wedding dress. They said they'd look into making it in white and it worked [left].
"A designer might have a gorgeous magenta floor-length gown that would make a beautiful bridal dress," Sorokin tells StyleList.
"We'll work with the designer to get exclusives, and many of these designers don't even have a bridal collection. We'll do exclusive capsule collections with more designers as we grow," she adds.
Net-A-Porter's Wedding Boutique is organized by bridal style -- classic, minimalist, bohemian, fashion forward -- and also offers suggestions by nuptial settings, i.e, city hall, country or beach wedding.
The appropriate dress, accessories, etc. can be found within each category, as well.
