On the last night of New York Fashion Week, Calvin Klein celebrated the creative directors of its men's and women's lines (Italo Zucchelli and Francisco Costa, respectively) at an all-out bash in the Meatpacking District. Held in a warehouse-esque space that once served as the studio for event planner extraordinaire Robert Isabell, the sparse environs dovetailed flawlessly with the minimalist collections that the designers had shown earlier in the day.

While model-rific male waiters dressed in all white passed out mini plates of pasta and miso cod, a smattering of A-list celebs (all in the signature label of course) helped the deserving designers to blow off steam. Kate Bosworth, Helena Christensen, and Naomi Watts represented Team Costa in pale-colored frocks while Ryan Phillippe, Alexander Skarsgard, and Rob Buckley supported Team Zucchelli by wearing some sharp suits.

Also on hand was a trifecta of seasoned catwalkers in the form of Stella Tennant, Kristen McMenamy, and Kirsty Hume who had reprised their roles as runway stars by walking for Costa. "It was kind of like riding a bicycle," laughed the latter when asked about her return. "A bit wobbly though!"

Actress Kerry Washington, who is currently starring in the new David Mamet play on Broadway, was particularly taken with Costa's coats offering. "I want all of them," she said unabashedly. "They were beautiful."

Luxe additions like a fur-trim here or a satin sheen there offered textural intrigue, while the occasional play on proportions served to mix it up as well. As for footwear, well, it was strictly relegated to platform loafers or wedges with a dyed-to-match vibe.
