Fashion Week Fall 2010 - Street Style, Head to Toe

We've been meticulously crafting blizzard-proof outfits and teetering along icy sidewalks in stilettos for a week.

The idea of sweatpants and TV reruns sounds better than a Chanel shopping spree right about now. But we devotedly headed over to the tents to see if our sartorial sisters were experiencing similar bouts of Fashion Week fatigue.

Were they starting to let things slip? Was their inspiration flagging? Anything but.

We found novel takes on classic black, playful pairings of patterns (feathers and florals anyone?) and classic silhouettes in unexpected fabrics (black leather trenches). We also found a great mix of high-low fashion.

H&M coats with YSL shoes! Viktor & Rolf paired with Steve Madden (a shoewear favorite among the model set).
