Every woman has an area of concern when it comes to getting dressed.

In this episode of "My Body, My Style," we meet Robin - a gorgeous mom with a nice long torso who also happens to have short(er) legs.

In order to highlight her fabulous figure, stylist Sam Saboura picks out a medium rise jean in a dark wash and a colorful flowy top. Important thing to remember if you share the same dilemma as Robin, be sure to tuck in that shirt to help create levels on your body (thereby helping to define your shape).

Watch the full video to hear what other tips Sam has for Robin and then tune in tomorrow when he selects an office outfit for her.

Whether you're pear shaped, have a long torso, or are full-figured, you won't want to miss the rest of our tips for finding the best clothes for your shape, in the "My Body, My Style" series.

My Body My Style: Casual Outfit for a Long Torso
Stylist Meg Goldman offers styling tips and step-by-step instructions for achieving Robin's final look.

Robin: Long Torso Short Legs

Robin is emphasizing her long torso/short leg proportion by wearing slightly baggy, light colored jeans with a long, very fitted t-shirt. When she pulls it all the way down the length of her torso is highlighted even more. In her after shot, she reversed the proportions of her clothing pairing tighter fitting, high waisted dark jeans with a looser top tucked in. Now her legs look longer and her upper body is proportionate to her lower body.

Robin: Long Torso Short Legs

Tucking in your top usually calls for a belt and Robin's is a slim, simple dark one whose color blends with her pants adding additional length. Even though her jeans are midrise they are anything but Mom-ish because of the skinny cut and dark wash.

Robin: Long Torso Short Legs

As a rule, petite women like Robin should opt for smaller jewelry. Less is more. If you like bold then just stick with one piece: either necklace or a cuff, not both. The light colored turquoise and modern design of her hoops draw the attention up to her face, calling attention to her upper body. Not to mention bringing out her beautiful eye color!

Robin: Long Torso Short Legs

Heels are a definite must for women who want to look like they have longer legs. Dark shoes add even more length to legs. Nude or natural shoes will have the same effect when going bare-legged. Tops should always be tucked in to retrain the eye to see a shorter waistline. A top with some volume like Robin's red blouse perfectly complements her skinny jeans.

in asia...there are 2 types of surgery that are common for women who don't like theri short legs. You can't imagine how appalled I was when I was reading up on it. One is...they shatter your shin bone and then use a torniquet like thing with screws to aid in "stretching the bone longer" as it heals. Women can grow as much as 3 inches with this procedure. Another is where they clip the nerve to your calve muscle. As a result the calve muscle relaxes...thus giving your leg a less stubby...longer leaner look. The down fall to this is they can clip the wrong nerve and its irreversible. You can walk with a limp etc....
It's just plain crazy!!!!

WOW what a stupid article. She should be happy she has legs that work. I know of people who are disabled and cannot walk or cannot walk without being in pain. And here is this shallow woman complaining of her short legs. SHEESH how stupid and shallow.

Puhhleeez! Telling me this woman has a problem figure?????? That is what is wrong with our society...a knockout figure, lovely face, and the world is telling her and she is telling US she has problem legs that are too short? And she is a personal trainer who should be more aware of perpetrating this horrible myth against girls. According to whom? What standard? A Giraffe? There is nothing wrong with her body. Shame on whatever style show this crap is touting.
Women UNITE against negative body stereotypes!!!!

What is this? - a comedy show?

The only thing that needs to be addressed is where to find clothes that fit - my son is 14, 6'4" tall and no one has size 30 x 36 pants here in regular America

Her legs were not even SHORT????!!!! This is way off, so that it is humiliating to think they can take a personal trainer and make her up and think it was magic.
She was evenly proportioned to begiin with....get a clue.
we need to see women with long torsos, short heavier legs in this kind of viewing or its USELESS to the common woman....They can use me for this., I'm not heavy at all, but after 4 kids and being 47 I am not the tall skinny chicky that is a rare find out there....she was even taller than him....in sneakers, yet.....DUUUUHHHHHH

This woman is bothered by her short legs. But if her legs were longer, she would be bothered by something else. We are always dissatisfied with something about ourselves. While no one else sees her as lacking because she has short legs, her complaint is still valid because SHE is bothered by it. What's important to one person doesn't always make a difference to anyone else.

I don't know what the purpose of the show actually is -- this lady's legs are NOT short!Anyone wearing such an unflattering LONG top..it will automatically make your legs appear short..

If she cut off her head, her body would be more proportional.

How was that a real fix? Those jeans would still be way too long if she wasn't wearing heels.

Hey lady!!! Let's meet somewhere in the middle and unhinge and exchange legs.
Mine are too long and you can have them. Would love to be able to shop and find a pair of slacks that were long enough. You can always rehem a pair of slack but if they are too short, then you are up the creek.
