Lady Gaga topless Q Magazine April Issue

Lady Gaga gets to the point Q magazine's April cover.

We've got to hand it to Lady Gaga. No, seriously, we do -- homegirl has just one hand keeping her breasts under wraps on the cover of Q Magazine's April issue, and it looks like she could use all the help she can get.

The pop star takes a risqué turn for the British music magazine, posing in a pair of spiky black pants, latex "Edward Scissorhands"-style gloves and a bare chest, revealing her tattoos and most of her left boob.

And that may not be all she's packing. Rumor has it the singer was so keen to dismiss rumors about her being a hermaphrodite that she wanted to, ahem, stuff her shorts for the shoot, which also includes a photo of the provocateur wearing heavy metal chains over her bare chest.

Nice try, honey. If you really wanted to shock us at this point, you'd turn up wearing an Ed Hardy tee and Gap jeans.

Strangely, the singer didn't see the irony in offering the magazine this quote, according to the Daily Mail:

"The last thing a young woman needs is another picture of a sexy pop star writhing in sand, covered in grease, touching herself."

Um, yeah. Going topless in latex gloves is way classier. Sigh.
