Seems getting dumped, then married on national television paid off (in designer style) for controversial "The Bachelor" couple Jason Mesnick and Molly Malaney.

The two, who tearfully broke up on the Season 13 finale of the reality series, only to reunite after Mesnick ended his engagement to his first chosen one, Melissa Rycroft, married last night at a seaside California resort.

Malaney, 25, wore a strapless $45,000 Monique Lhuillier wedding dress, Manolo Blahnik shoes and was dripping in millions of Neil Lane diamonds for her stroll down a 200 ft. aisle as former "American Idol" contestant Jason Castro sang, "Over the Rainbow."

The gown, which featured a deep-plunging back, cascaded into soft rosette ruffles at its base -- perfect for the woman Mesnick has called his "Tomboy gone pretty."

• Multi-strand diamond and platinum necklace, with 200 round diamonds, estimated to be worth close to $1 million
• Blinding diamond and platinum bangle bracelet, featuring 25 carats of pink and white fancy diamonds

• Diamond and platinum hair accessories (total weight 20 carats)

We also hear the two went with original wedding bands by Neil Lane.

Mesnick, 33, his groomsmen and Ty, his five-year-old son from a previous marriage, wore dark suits, white shirts and dark ties. The mens' attire was by Kenneth Cole, a network source told StyleList.

Malaney's bridesmaids also wore dresses by Lhuillier and Manolo Blahnik shoes.

The nuptials, which took place before a crowd of 300 (many of whom were "The Bachelor" and "The Bachelorette" alumni), will air as an ABC TV special on March 8.

So, it's safe to say that a lot of "promotional consideration" went into the luxe bridal attire, setting and touches.

Guests, according to People magazine, included Trista and Ryan Sutter (the first couple, and until now, only couple from the ABC reality franchise to wed), as well as an interesting array of ex-boyfriends and ex-girlfriends of the bride and groom.

Also in attendance was Deanna Pappas (who Mesnick attempted to propose to on "The Bachelorette"), Pappas' ex-fiance Jesse Csinsak, former "Bachelorette" Jillian Harris (who was dumped by Mesnick), her fiance, Ed Swiderski, as well as handsome Kiptyn Locke, who was Harris' second choice.

We're pretty sure choosing wedding attire was a lot easier for the newlyweds than doing the seating charts.

Neil Lane, whose jewelry is often a fixture on awards ceremony red carpets, has become almost as much of a show regular as host Chris Harrison on "The Bachelor" franchise.

The 1.94 carat marquise-cut diamond ring Mesnick gave to Rycroft during their ill-fated engagement also came from Lane.
