2. Laura Geller Spackle

Made with oil-absorbing and hydrating botanicals, this primer is applied before your foundation or powder to make makeup slip on smoother and last longer. "You can use it on your neck and the back of your hands for a more luminous look too. The light reflectors make the skin glow," says New York Makeup Artist Laura Geller.

3. NARS Orgasm Blush

A pinky peach shade that is meant to mimic - well, you know - it's formulated with transparent pigments so that application is sheer and airy. "For the longest lasting color, blend a cream color like NARS' Orgasm Multiple to skin first for a natural glow, and then set with Orgasm Powder Blush," suggests NARS International Lead Makeup Artist Uzo Ukaeje.

4. LipFusion Plumping Gloss

When LipFusion broke ground with the concept of a lip color that plumps, a bevy of Hollywood celebrities lined up for more. But how does it work? Tiny collagen microspheres are absorbed by the lips and plump as they pull in moisture - creating a touch of swelling to the tissue, which tingles. Dozens of copycats have since flooded the market, but the original LipFusion remains a top best-seller.

5. YSL Touche Eclat

Nicknamed by Hollywood makeup artists as "8 hours of sleep in a pen," this light-reflecting concealer can be worn on bare skin or under or over makeup. A great trick? Use the little brush to get at the crevices around your nose to illuminate shadows, or lightly go around the contour of your lips after applying color for a perfect pout that looks luscious.

6. Fresh Sugar Lip Balm

Made with blackcurrant oil to plump lips with fatty acids, the stick also contains grape seed extract and vitamins A, C and E to cushion lips with extra protection. Keep the treatment on your nightstand and apply a rich coat before bedtime, and wake up to softer, more hydrated lips. And gently stroke on a layer after applying lipstick to keep lips cushioned with moisture all day.

7. Lancôme Definicils Mascara

The secret behind this best-selling department store mascara? A special patented brush that separates each lash and evenly coats with a lengthening formula. For sexiest results, start at lash line and sweep brush upwards in a wiggly motion. Then touch the tip to any baby or outer corner lashes you may have missed. Repeat two or three times for extra drama.

8. Philosophy Hope In A Jar

Originally created for the medical market to reduce the look of wrinkles, discoloration and rough texture, this exfoliating moisturizer soufflé is known for its lightweight texture and antioxidant-rich formula. It comes in a variety of sizes, so you can grab a deal on a bigger jar if you want to treat a neck or décolleté in need of refreshment too.

9. Shu Uemura Cleansing Oil

While working as a Hollywood makeup artist in the '50's, Shu Uemura discovered that film stars used oil-based cleansing to gently remove heavy makeup multiple times a day. Uemura formulated his oil to protect skin's moisture balance while removing dirt and makeup in one step. Massage the oil on to dry skin, and then rinse with water to reveal a clean, hydrated complexion.

10. Stila Kitten

A neutral beige with a glint of gold sheen, this eyeshadow is a treasured favorite of brides, makeup artists and the everyday beauty junkie. Why so versatile? You can apply a wash of sheer color from lash line to brow bone for an eye-opening look, or layer it under liner and deeper crease shades for a long-lasting neutral base that's prettier than just your typical cream shadow.

Dear Stylelist and fans: Upon further review of all the products you backed in the above article, I take offense to the mere suggestion that I would put a product such as Sugar such as Fresh Sugar Lip Gloss, Baby which is given an "8" designation by the Environmental Working Group (EWG). On the scale of 1-10, and 10 being the worst - it is appalling that we are pimping such products which do harm our children and our bodies. Since Ava Anderson NonToxic skin care line launched in December I immediately jumped on board because I have long known of the correllation to cancer, endocrine disruption and reproductive and developmental harm of 95% of the products on the market.

As media educators we need to market products which appeal to the Health, Safety and Welfare of all americans. Johnson & Johnson, Walmart (Equate line) are being sued as of February 9, 2010 and this should be a warning to everyone to not endorse products that cause harm. You may look at any and all media coverage on our line at AvaAndersonNontoxic.com/SuzanneArena

How about Clinique Black Honey almost-lipstick? That's been a standby for millions for far longer than Touche Eclat and Fresh put together! Wish I could keep one in every purse...

Why no peach gloss?? Any woman, any skin shade, can go from groggily to great with only swift swipe of a peach gloss wand! The next 'A Girls Best Friend'. I recommend a light honey-peach mix...Try NYC Lippin Large in peach parfait if you have thin lips, but go for a lighter gloss like NYC Kiss Gloss in petal pink...Good luck!!!

I have used navy blue mascara for years. I have short thin lashes and with the blue mascara often my eyes get noticed. I have bright blue eyes and a very pale complexion. Nobody has ever had a negative thing to say about my unconventional color choice.

I'm not suckered in by any of these anti-aging creams. If your gonna age your gonna age, period. Now if you want a face lift to even make you look worse, then go ahead. I'd rather spend my money on my home, family things that really mean something to me.

$40 BUCKs for a concealer?...get real. Maybe the overpaid people in Hollywood can afford this crap but thanks, I'll buy some food, or put the money into savings, or pay on the back end of my mortgage or vehicle. This is stupid. Quit paying up the wazzoo for this stupid stuff & maybe the price will drop. "There's a sucker born every minute."

I use DHC cleansing oil and it is less than half the price of the Shu Uemura Cleansing Oil. It's my favorite must have product!
