Tiffani Thiessen Talks Skinny Maternity Jeans and Pregnancy Cravings

Dressing isn't easy when you're pregnant. And when you're an actress who's expected to look a certain way, it goes from difficult to don't-even-wanna.

"It's more challenging to talk myself into getting dressed up, because most of the time, I don't want to. And If I don't have to dress up, I'm in stretchy pants and leggings --very comfortable clothes," Tiffani Thiessen tells StyleList.

But adds that, "A Pea in the Pod and Isabella Oliver have beautiful pregnancy clothes."

The "White Collar" actress is expecting her first child with husband Brady Smith in May. The couple knows whether it's a boy or a girl, but is not sharing the news.

"A Pea in the Pod has been a godsend," she says. "Luckily, they make normal clothes and tailor them for pregnancy, which is awesome. I love that I get to still wear my skinny jeans that have a belly on them. I've pretty much stayed true to my own style."

"I just got a few pieces of the Heidi Klum collection. I'm very excited to wear them," she reveals.

While she can still stick to her clothing routine, like any pregnant woman, Thiessen has cravings -- though hers are throwing her for a loop.

"I used to be a vegetarian and I'm eating red meat now. It's weird," she says. "I crave a lot of fruit and a lot of dairy, which I never used to drink. I'm definitely listening to my body, but it's been a big transition."

Even if she's left the veg side, somehow we don't get the feeling she'll send the animal activists protesting, unlike some other stars in the spotlight.

What a glow on Tiffani. She has always been a beautiful person and a wonderful actress. My personal favorite was Son-In-Law. I wish her the best in life and an easy delivery. I am sure if it's a boy or a girl, it will be one of the most fortunate children in the world.

Talk about ignorance, rikstik71664 can't even spell Tiffani right. Look at your own wording and spelling before talking about someone else.

@rikstik - You are ignorant because of your statements, plain and
simple. You are lumping a minority group together as if every black
person is like that.

Also just to point out a few things that make your point moot :In
your very own tirade you say that you dont "talk illiterate
uneducated ghetto street ebonics ". It's speak, not talk. Guess
your education wasn't that great either. "EBONICS the U.S. has DUMBED
DOWN" The previous quote is also a run-on nonsense sentence.

Educate yourself before you try to call out other groups, completely
randomly, I might add.

I just wanted to point out a few examples to answer your question. I
am willing to wager that you are white and the comments you make show
how little exposure you have had in your life to minorities. I pity
you, really I do. Have a nice life in your little "self-hating so I
take it out on those whom I feel are inferior to me" mind set. It
will bite you in the ass hopefully sooner rather than later. That I
can promise :)

I'm lost...where did the ebonics stuff come from.

Anyway, Tiffani looks great pregnant and I love watching her on White Collar. Congrats to her on the baby.

Yes I have to agree that it appears America is definitely "dumbing down." A society who is amused by reality shows, American Idol, and Dancing With the Stars? I mean c'mon now. Really?
I see these on television and immediately observe the audience has lost 5 points off their IQ just for attending.
When are they going to grow up into maturity with this 'baby bump' thing? That is the most childish, ebonic phrase since "my baby mamma", or " my baby daddy".
Grow the F..K up!
