Wait... Princess Diana, Jane Birkin and Brigitte Bardot all wore comfy, colorful, affordable French sneakers, and now we can walk a day in their shoes?

The answer is yes.

For the first time ever, all 21 colors of the iconic Bensimon canvas shoe will be available in the states -- well, in New York, anyway; however, a large assortment of colors can be found online.

Launched in the 1970s as a "disposable shoe for French women," the sneakers have since become a cult favorite thanks, in part, to the brand's famous fans.

You may have seen some colors and styles from Bensimon at stores like Madewell and American Rag, but the entire spring collection will be available this week at the Tani shoe store on NYC's Upper West Side.

Each season, the tennis shoes, which retail for around $55, are done in new shades.

Chic, comfortable and colorful? Ooh la la!
