No need to put your manicure at risk while trying to wrestle the wedding dress of your dreams out of a fellow bride-to-be's greedy hands.

With Gilt Groupe's new wedding sale, you can avoid the wedding dress sample sale crowds and save big bucks on that Vera Wang.

In collaboration with Martha Stewart Weddings, the virtual shopping event will take place on Gilt Groupe's site, March 12-14. The company that built its name on amazing online designer sample sales for women, has since expanded to include men's and home, but this will be its first ever specialized offering for stressed-out fiancées.

Launching this Friday, March 12, at noon ET, the discounts will last through the weekend, though, we doubt the amazing dresses will.

Shoppers can score everything from wedding gowns, bridesmaids dresses and accessories to discounted primping rates from Privé Salon (for the NYC and LA bride) and even last-minute weight loss plans, er, detox, courtesy of BluePrint Cleanse.

As for that coveted Vera Wang, Gilt has promised dresses by the designer's Lavender label along with gowns from brands including Carolina Herrera, Amsale, Thread Social and Temperley London.

While the weekend sale isn't going write your vows, the site is aiming to be quite the one-stop shop. Aside from wedding dresses, you'll find Lulu Frost jewelry, Judith Leiber bags, Sergio Rossi shoes, Pippa and Julie flower girl dresses and for ring bearers, dapper suits by Hickey Freeman Boys.

Plus, Gilt is putting together honeymoon packages courtesy of its sister travel site, Jetsetter.com, as well as offering wedding night lingerie from designers such as Elle Macpherson Intimates.

As for Gilt's famous discount prices, a company spokesperson reassured StyleList that "Gilt is offering busy brides and their bridal parties everything they need to plan the big day, and up to 70% off retail."

Well, with all that taken care of, that just leaves more time for the really important things -- like cake tasting.

Meanwhile, grooms seem to have it even easier these days: Huge engagement rings are being replaced by simpler wedding bands.
