Celebrity Skin: Hollywood Tips for Faking Perfection

It's unlikely that Jennifer Aniston looks into the mirror and thinks she appears dull. She does, after all, have gorgeous hair, lineless skin and legs to envy. Or so we think.

Be it Jennifer, or Nicole or Angelina, for that matter, no one wakes up looking perfect. It's access to the right products and great makeup artistry that lends assistance.

In other words, they fake it.

Just in time for spring, we have everything you need to look as flawless as the next celeb. From smooth skin to gorgeous gams, the mirror is about to become your best friend.

Celebrity Skin: Hollywood Tips for Faking Perfection
Newsflash: Celebrities don't wake up looking perfect. Learn their top tips for faking it.

Celebrity Skin: Tips to Fake Complexion Perfection

How is it that we can't smile without them, yet celebrities like Demi Moore seem to grin without a line in sight? Maybe it's genetic or maybe it's not (botox, anyone?), but for those of us not as blessed (genetically or financially), there are products that can have your eyes looking equally as lineless.
To keep their star clients looking youthful, makeup artists prep the eye area with temporary line fillers. Designed to fill in the gaps, they create a smooth surface for makeup application.

Try: Per-fekt Eye Perfection Gel
https://www.perfektbeauty.com/refresh/templates/product.php?product=3
Try: Cosmedicine Instant Wrinkle Write Off Line Filler

Celebrity Skin: Tips to Fake Complexion Perfection

Forehead, frown and laugh lines; you're hard pressed to find these aging culprits on any face in Hollywood. Whether it's the magic of a needle or good genes, celebrities like Nicole Kidman aren't the only ones who can have the skin of a seventeen year old.
To look like you're still in high school, smooth on a topical line filler or foundation primer that offers instant line-smoothing results. Though they may not erase them entirely, they'll minimize their appearance so skin looks more youthful.

Try: Fresh Anise Wrinkle Eraser

Try: Smashbox PhotoFinish Foundation Primer

Celebrity Skin: Tips to Fake Complexion Perfection

Extra long lashes have been a red carpet staple for years. And for good reason: they instantly make the eyes appear wide (ideal for paparazzi shots) and boost your sex appeal (whether you're in sweatpants or a strapless gown). And you don't need to fuss with falsies to achieve them. Mascara technology has come a long way. From jumbo brushes that find every last lash to formulas that offer exceptional length and volume, obtaining star-worthy fringe, no matter the size or shape of your lashes, is entirely possible.

Try: Dior Show
http://www.sephora.com/browse/product.jhtml?id=P40404
Cover Girl Lash Blast Length
http://www.covergirl.com/products/product.jsp?productId=lashblast_length_mascara
Tip: For even greater drama, curl lashes before applying mascara. This helps to create the look of even longer lashes.

Celebrity Skin: Tips to Fake Complexion Perfection

The secret to show-worthy legs like Charlize Theron isn't necessarily the gym, but rather inside a bottle. Body lotions spiked with bronzer are what celebrities use to give their gams a sexy, sunkissed sheen. The subtle touch of instant color helps to slim the appearance of the legs and make pesky imperfections, such as spider veins, scars and cellulite, appear less obvious. A word to the wise before slathering: make sure it's transfer resistant so it doesn't rub off on your clothes.

Try: DuWop Revolotion
http://shop.duwop.com/index.asp?PageAction=VIEWPROD&ProdID=51
Tip: After applying a body bronzer to the legs, lightly dust shimmer powder along the shins. This creates the illusion of slimmer, longer looking legs.

Celebrity Skin: Tips to Fake Complexion Perfection

Jennifer Aniston has great hair. Whether it's tousled, straight or pulled back, it always looks soft, shiny and healthy. If your hair looks the complete opposite (dull, dry or damaged) there are a few steps you can take to whip your locks into the celebrity shape.
For starters, deep condition weekly to restore moisture and soothe the cuticle. After one application you'll notice increased softness, manageability and shine. Also try applying a shine serum after you blow dry for instant and added luster.
Try: Biolage Conditioning Balm
http://www.matrix.com/products/biolage/hydratherapie/conditioning_balm.aspx#reviews
Try: Ken Paves Healthy Hair Shine Serum

Celebrity Skin: Tips to Fake Complexion Perfection

There's never a dull moment in Hollywood. Whether working the red carpet or playing with their kids in the park, stars like Jessica Alba always seem to shine. How do they achieve such luminosity? Smoke and mirrors.
To get their celebrity clients glowing, makeup artists mix a drop of luminizing lotion with liquid foundation. It's a foolproof makeup trick that will leave your skin looking as radiant as the stars.

Try: Benefit High Beam
http://www.benefitcosmetics.com/gp/product/B000FBNYRU/ref=sr_11_1/186-9831328-5029914?ie=UTF8&bcBrand=core&nodeID=
Try: Lorac Oil-Free Face Luminizer
http://www.loraccosmetics.com/p-26-oil-free-luminizerbrfont-size1face-luminizerfont.aspx
Tip: Mix a few drops of luminzing lotion with your favorite body cream for an instant, full body sheen.

Celebrity Skin: Tips to Fake Complexion Perfection

Working the red carpet allows you no time to reapply, which is precisely why celebrity makeup artists rely on cheek stains for stars like Jennifer Garner. They not only have longevity, but also give the skin a healthy, pinch-your-cheeks glow. The pros recommend stains that are gel based because they allow time to blend before setting. But if you opt for a liquid-based stain, which has a touch more staying power, mix it with a drop of facial moisturizer for easier application.

Tip: Cheek stains double as lip color. Apply to clean lips, pat into place and enjoy lasting lip color all day (or night) long.

Try: Pixie Water Blush
http://www.pixibeauty.com/Pixibeauty_Products/cheeks/Water_Blush/Index.html
Try: Tarte Cheek Stain

Celebrity Skin: Tips to Fake Complexion Perfection

Years ago the only option to score lips like Angelina Jolie was a trip to the doctor's office (with a whopping $500 in tow). Now, with an abundance of lip plumpers on the market, anyone can have a bee stung poutin an instant and without the commitment. When applied, lip plumpers enhance the lips on the spot (how much varies from person to person) with the effects lasting anywhere from 12-24 hours.

Lip Fusion Lip Plump

Freeze 24/7 Plump Lips
http://www.freeze247.com/proddetail.cfm?sku=9913900002&prd=Lip-Plumper
Tip: Always apply a lip plumper to bare lips. Balm, gloss or lipstick applied before application can interfere with the results.

Makeup and skin care products my arse! It's creative, constant, and corrective cosmetic surgery.

Go ahead and spend your money on all that tripe to put on your skin. The only thing that works is a scalpel in the hands of a trained surgeon.

It’s amazing because nothing else was working for my wrinkles until I found the Dead Sea Masque ( Http://tr.im/DeadSeaMasque ), not topicals or even blue light treatment. People keep giving me compliments now and it feels great. I have only been using your product for two weeks and the difference in my skin tone is remarkable to say the least. I finally feel like I have healthy skin.

I agree with Joan Rivers (on the Fashion Police), Demi no longer looks like herself. She has had way more plastic surgery than Heidi Montag! She use to be attractive when she was secure in her own, natural skin. That is not a real smile--it looks weird. Genetics, my ass!

Joan Rivers...give me a break. She just has to diss everyone because she's had more plastic surgery than anyone in the industry, and it SHOWS. Hello? The reason Demi doesn't look the same is because she has M A T U R E D. NO ONE looks the same as when they are 20....goodness.She looks no where NEAR as plastic as Joan. She may have had minor but I think she doesn't look plastic at all.

One day last summer I took my two adult daughters to the movies. When they told me how much the tickets cost it seemed to be on the low side to me. I paid what they asked for and forgot about it. The next morning when I was cleaning out my purse I found the receipt from the night before. I was horrified to see that they charged me for two adults and one senior citizen. I was only 55! I looked in the mirror and sure enough, I looked older than my age. I decided at that moment that I was going to have some cosmetic surgery. I reached out to an acquaintance who obviously had some work done. She told me that the reason she looked so much younger was not because of surgery but because of some amazing cream she found called LifeCell HTtP://itshrunk.com/cb3619 I really thought she was covering up for her surgery so I started asking around about LifeCell and I found out that many dermatologists are hailing it as the most potent needle-free skin care treatment available to science. Studies have shown it prevents "cell damage linked to facial aging and wrinkles" I have to tell you that 7 months later I look like a new woman. I have been getting compliments like I never got in my life before. If you think it might help you, you can get a free sample online and see for yourself.

Demi is an attractive gal. No matter how you dice it brown eyes are not sexy Demi. You can do all the right things to have the right smile and big teeth and not show the crow's feet but the brown eyes kill it.

No actually bill I'd say they were hazel rather than brown. Brown she could maybe pull off (hazel works better for light browns to reds). Does looks like she piled on the Visine tho.

I too felt like my skin was aging way ahead of the rest of me, but I have found the greatest skincare products...my face is now fresh, the pores refined andwrinkles are going away. In fact, a recent conversation with a stranger in a hotel lobby confirmed what I was hoping is true. I was sharing about my story and the products and she asked me if this is what I have been using on my skin and of course I answered yes. She replied back, "I noticed your skin when you walked into the lobby and wondered what you did to have such a lovely complexion".. How about that. If you are interested to learn more about these products, visit my web site at http://gingermcclain.myrandf.com or http://gingermcclain.myrandf.biz
Check it out....they really do work!!!

Demi isn't fooling anyone. You can tell she's had lots of work done. It looks like botox is one of the procedures she gets. Why does she lie? The others admit it, and a lot of them look much more natural than she does. She doesn't look anything like she used to.
