When YouTube makeup star Michelle Phan recently inked a deal to partner with Lancôme, we were excited to see what creative ideas the gifted art student would conjure up. So when we heard that Phan would assist with backstage makeup at the Chris Benz Fall 2010 presentation in New York, we just had to show up with flipcam in hand to capture the action.

We're also loving the casual DIY side pony and rectangular frames the Florida native is sporting. "Backstage at fashion week is like working out - it gets hot back here and you need a look that's built for endurance!" Phan told Stylelist.
