Reminds me of when my boyfriend (back in the 70's) laced his car. He took lace, placed it on the hood of his Camaro and spray painted over it.

There is an easier way ... air brushing. I did this something like 20 years ago. Want the look of black lace on white nails? Paint the nail black. Hold a piece of lace over the finger. Air brush white through the lace. Remove the lace and apply the top coat. Nothing but polish on the nails but with that same lace design. It looks awesome for a special occasion!

This looks creepy, will not adhere to nails for very long and is definitely indicative
of someone with way too much free time on their hands.

These nails are missing some dead bugs embedded in the top coat. This is absolutely heinous. PS everybody...nothing looks better on women's nails than a few coats of clear or barely pink/clear polish. All the decorating of your nails makes you look as if you are good at one thing...wasting money.

Who has time to do all that? It's hard enough to keep up a good manicure touching up the ends of the nail each day. Come on women enough is enough. Let a man paint his nails like this if he likes it. I for one just like a nice short manicured nail that I can type with.

My girlfriends and I painted our nails like this in 1970 when I was in 9th grade. It's as ugly today as it was back then. When my daughter used to look at all my teenage pictures and she would laugh and tell me that if she was my mother she would never have let me leave the house dressed like that I and my best friends dressed. Nothing's ever new. In time it always comes back.

Why would this be dirty? Why can't people read all the instructions?

It clearly says that after applying the lace to the first coat of varnish before it dries, you apply a couple of coats of top coat varnish (note, not even ordianary clear varnish, but hard wearing top coat). This would seal the lace in place and mean you could wash your hands as normal.

Presumably this amount of effort would be reserved for special occasions, not for working in the garden, decorating the house or going camping, therefore so long as you can wash your hands after using the loo, what is the problem.

Whether you like it or not is a different issue, but don't say it's unhygienic without reading it properly

i think this is really cute. and to the up keep everyone keeps complaining about well duh! even clear nail polish chips and nails break, people put on makeup even though by some point it will be taken off and or smeared all over your face (and pillow) its just something you do to feel pretty of even just for fun. :) it would so be cuter with different colors like a aqua!
