It's official: Karl Lagerfeld is a Hogan's hero.
StyleList has learned that the ponytailed designer is teaming up with the Tod's-owned Hogan label on a special project for Spring/Summer 2011.
In a statement released today, the classic Italian brand called the collaboration "an exceptional partnership embracing the creative wonder of Karl Lagerfeld and Hogan's original lifestyle."
Hogan is renowned for its urban-chic leather handbags and footwear, while Herr Lagerfeld made his name with his hyper-modern and structured style. His involvement could add a whole new dimension to the collection.
Lagerfeld has certainly been a busy man lately. He already designs masterpieces for Chanel, Fendi, and, of course, his own namesake line.
He also recently landed a photography gig to shoot the next Pirelli calendar.
And as if all that weren't enough, he'll soon be honored by the French government by being decorated as a Commander of the Legion of Honor.
Sheesh! The guy sure does get around!
