Celebrity Obsessions: Affordable Luxuries
Beat the heat in this Michael Stars Riviera Stripe Tank
Michael Stars Riviera Stripe Tank
Nautical colors and stripes are back in a big way for spring, and stars like Jessica Biel, Courtney Cox, Hayden Pannetiere and Dakota Fanning are all sporting this on-trend top by Michael Stars. At $49 for this comfy cotton top, you don't have to blow your budget for a new look -- pair it with cropped boyfriend jeans and wedges.
La Roche-Posay
"Gossip Girl" Leighton Meester could get her hands on any skincare brand she chooses, but the star loves French brand La Roche-Posay. The reasonably-priced line is made of top-notch ingredients and fragrance-free formulas, and they specialize in sun protection and great moisturizers. Leighton likes the Hydraphase UV ($29), and our staff is partial to many of the products, especially the lip balms, body balms, and sunscreens.
Ted Gibson Beautiful Hold Hairspray
Sports Illustrated model Brooklyn Decker couldn't get enough of this gardenia-scented spray during a recent shoot with Ted Gibson in St. Barths. The flexible-hold spray is never stiff or sticky, and the 2 ounce size is only $11 -- reasonable for a celebrity stylist's brand!

Textile/Fabric Advice Needed! Help, from anyone in the know? My DREAM is to get involved w/ a growing "up & coming hip store/boutique" that has the potential of becoming a very large corp. (like Forever 21, Anthroplogie, Free The People). I have been a dealer for years now of textiles/fabrics at numerous "textile shows" across the country. After years of hearing that I have an "amazing taste" for specific and special fabrics, and hear that my sense of style for "fabric", is "the best they've seen," as I have sold to many people that work for, and are the finders/designers for textiles, for companies such as Forever 21, etc.
So, my question is, HOW can I get involved with a business that is in need of a person who could bring to the table, great samples/examples to make their clothing? Or home goods?
