It looks like 2010 is shaping up to be a big year for Anthropologie.

After announcing the launch of a wedding and bridesmaids dress line designed by the Anthropologie team earlier this month, the earthy chic shop (which is oddly enough one of Donatella Versace's faves) is going global with an international version of its Website, anthropologie.co.uk.

The new site has a different design than its U.S. counterpart and will service the U.K. and European markets and sell items in various currencies.

To expand upon the new global roll-out, the 18-year-old company also opened a second shop in London this weekend, this one on King's Road in the Chelsea district (the other is on Regent Street).

The new shop -- with 8,000 sq ft of retail space -- marks the second store outside of the U.S. and is located in the historic Antiquarius building, which has had previous incarnations as a billiards hall and motor garage.

The King's Road store, like all of Anthropologie's locations, will have its own unique details, including the building's original decorative glass skylights and a gallery space to display the work of Anthropologie-approved artists.
