Call them the squeaky wheel, but it's no secret that celebrities often sport hairdo's that are wild, funky and sometimes just downright messy. As crazy as some of the styles are, we have to believe it's all in the name of attention -- not fashion. At least we'd like to think so.
Take a look at some of the stars who are making messes with their tresses, and then ask yourself if you would dare to wear that hair.
Ever since her days on "Friends", Jennifer Aniston's long, wavy, honey-blond locks have sent many a woman into salons clutching one of her photos. But when she appeared on "The Late Show With David Letterman" recently, the Hollywood trend setter was sporting such a tousled head, we had to wonder if the actress had been caught in a wind storm on the way in.
Victoria Beckham started a huge hair trend with her "pob" (posh bob) cut. It was a flattering combination of tousled and tame, but recently it's been less of the latter. When she attended the recent 18th Annual Elton John AIDS Foundation Academy Award Party in West Hollywood, Miss
Posh Spice herself attempted an updo that was really more of a falling-down 'do.
Dakota Fanning has seemingly turned from girl to woman overnight on the big screen, and her hair is making an equally big leap with the ultra messy, rocker style she is sporting to promote her new movie, "The Runaways". Personally, we love seeing a little edginess and messiness, but this look is really more reminiscent of a 1960s
bouffant gone terribly bad.
Tell us what you think. Are these celebs taking the natural, carefree look too far?

Grooming Cream
"You want your hair, and especially the ends, to look very polished so I like to use a little bit of grooming cream through the ends," says Danielle.

Pre-Dry Hair
You'll cut down on a lot on drying time by blow-drying your hair with your hands until it's about 90 dry.

Section Hair
Separate hair into three sections, from the top, the middle and the nape. Leave the nape section loose because this is where you'll begin blow-drying.

Pick the Right Brush
"Use a paddle brush for a sleek look and a round brush for more volume and bend," suggests Danielle.

Direct the Nozzle Down
Always point the nozzle attachment on your dryer facing down the hair shaft. This helps to flatten the cuticle for the sleekest results.

Follow Through
It's good to get the roots completely dry first and then move on to the ends. Remember to brush and dry all the way through the ends so that they end up polished and smooth--not neglected.

Add Some Lift
"On the middle section of hair, you want to achieve some volume. I do that by placing the brush right under the section of hair, and then bringing the brush up" says Danielle. Direct the dryer flow against the hair as you lift to lock in volume, then smooth through the rest of the strand as usual.
