Get ready to see a slew of southern bridezillas baring their claws and fangs.

Just in time for the spring/summer wedding season, TLC has announced its engagement to an Atlanta-based bridal atelier for a new version of its popular "Say Yes to the Dress" series.

"Say Yes to the Dress: Atlanta" is the first spin-off of the original "Say Yes," which is set in New York City's iconic bridal emporium Kleinfeld.

Fans still married to the Kleinfeld version of "Say Yes" need not smash the wedding china in protest:

The Big Apple edition, which is still among the cable network's top-rated reality shows, returns for Season 5 next month.

While we've gotten ready to divorce ourselves from some reality spin-offs (um, care for any more "Real Housewives" anyone?), this is a franchise we'll gladly walk down the aisle with again.

"Say Yes to the Dress: Atlanta," which will make a 12-episode run beginning in July, is set at Bridals by Lori, a 30-year-old Atlanta institution that sees roughly 10,000 brides-to-be a year.

That means longtime owner Lori B. Allen encounters enough southern belles to create a lot of fitting-room drama.

We expect the brides will be in good hands: The salon's Website describes Allen as "picky about everything in her life, especially her shoes and handbags," so customers can be certain that her staff has scoured the world in search of the best wedding wear, from head to toe.

TLC tells StyleList that the strong-willed southern women follow their favorite bridal designers and will expect the Bridals by Lori experts to deliver.

Our translation: It's diva time! So maybe we should prepare for a lot of Georgia peaches fretting over how they look in their Monique Lhuillier dresses? (Bridals by Lori carries her more affordable Bliss bridal line).

No word from the network on whether Randy Fenoli, Kleinfeld's charming fashion director, will go south to smooth out any ruffled hemlines, but let StyleList be the first to toast the idea!

For 25 drool-worthy wedding gowns (available now), check out our sister site AisleDash's top spring picks.

Meanwhile, see which retailer is branching out into bridal.

Do we need yet another bridal show? We already have a whole network dedicated to this subject, plus 27,000 shows about brides, bridal dresses, wedding cakes, nasty brides, etc.
Considering that 60% of people who get married end up divorcing, maybe we should ask for shows that are about life after a break up, life as an unmarried woman/man, how much there is to life besides dressing up like a princess for a day, have everyone look at you, spend above your means, settle for the wrong guy just for the sake of having a wedding.
TLC should be called TFC, as The Freak Channel instead of The Learning Channel.

They should have Jon and Kate plus their load of baggage, to host the show. They are the perfect example of 60% of the American population destiny.

Nope, we certainly don't "need" another wedding show. Come to think of it, we don't "need" a lot of what passes as entertainment on television. People have gotten hypnotized by the little window on the world to the point that they no longer "EXPLORE" the world around them. They are willing to let someone else do the exploration and live through that little box called a television. And not all the messeges are good for you. Do yourself a favor America, bash all but one television in your house and get out and explore for yourself the wonders that surround you!

Better another Bridal show than another show rewarding people who have 47 kids and don't seem to know what causes it. Enough already with the Duggars or what ever their name is.

Y doesn't TLC do a bridal show focused on the men picking out their tuxedos. Im tired of seeing these bridal shows just showcasing one side of the coin. I am sure picking out the perfect tux is just as daunting as picking out the perfect dress. Additionally, the woman is not the only person that is tying the knot- so is the man! TLC, feature some man meat!

Shamika on Say yes to the dress /Atlanta was an embarassment. She seemed to focus on her padded oversized assets and gyrated like a stripper on a pole. She acted like a low-class,no class, low budget HO. Don.t get on national tv and act like you have no finesse about yourself. The camera honed in on you shaking your protruding behind with a thread dangling off your behind. Have one decency about yourself and Nobody goes around displaying their underclothing to strangers. Where was your mother to advise you that you were acting like somebody with no class. You had a kool-aid budget and you acted like a ghetto queen.

Trash, trash trash. Kleinfelds is so classy; why insult it with this Atlanta garbage? A total insult to Kleinfelds.

What's with Bruce jJenner being on this show, trying to act gay and southern, and with his hair colored and grown out?? What the crap is going on??? What a farce! So much for "reality". All made up and staged and scripted. There IS no "REAL" reality show anymore.

I sure love the wedding dress show. The friday august 20th on TLC. I was watching the show and i found the dress i wanted for my wedding it was on a manikin and the bodice to the waist it look like solid fake diamonds. Could you send me a picture of it via email and also where i can purchase that dress please. My wedding is in one year.

Thank you,

Claudine Wilson

The Atlanta version is awful -- sarcasm, divas, insults -- everyone in it for themselves and no one giving a rip about the people. Hate it. TLC made a big mistake with this one!

I like Say Yes/ Atlanta. I wish some of the "friends/family" would remember that the dress is not for them. I would LOVE for someone to remind them of that!
